There are few things I love better than taking Friday morning off with my sons, eating breakfast downtown, then going for a walk along the river.  They all work for me in summer, and work very hard, but everybody needs to goof off now and then.

 

The Broadway Bridge is one of our favorites for walking beneath, since the views of the river and skyline are fantastic there.  But the old railroad bridges are our favorites for walking over, since those on the Santa Fe road lead west, and we’re all pretty big on going west.  Be hiking in NM and AZ this time next month.  Can’t wait.

 

Apparently someone’s rehearsing for Battle of the Bands at the Beaumont tomorrow night.  What a punk.
