Well, good old Phil Epp’s Blue Sky Project qualified as one of the Eight Wonders of Kansas.  Is he 1st or 8th?  I don’t think they rank them that way, but all that matters is he’s in.  This dude earned the honor long ago.  I’m very pleased he’s being recognized in his lifetime, as too few artists are.
