These shots I think speak for themselves.  Took them about 5 hours to peel the whole pile.  That’s a lot of orange juice.  Roughly 100 people passed through.  That’s a lot of beer.  Channel 4 ran a story on the gig.

 

 

 

 

We’re hosting a performance piece this Friday night.  Four sculptors from the Kansas City Art Institute–who are known as The For–will place 2500 oranges in a pyramid, then spend the day peeling them, making two separate sculptures from the peels and oranges. Should be quite an aromatic gig, not to mention one helluva lot of work.  Admire their diligence.
