Camped last night with one of my sons, one of his band mates, and assorted characters.  The cabin is on the bluffs above the Kaw, just outside Lawrence.  The boys played music until late, we went to town to hear who was at The Granada, came back to sit around the campfire, then soak in the hot tub.  Well, I guess hot tubs ain’t exactly camping.

Tonight the same boys go to a concert at Memorial Hall.  The Strokes.  Funny.  I saw The Who, Queen, Jethro Tull, and god-knows who else there in the 70s.  Time marches on.  I’m sure they’ll dig the show.
