Chihuly Exhibit, St. Louis

IMG_0597.JPG

This picture shows only a small portion Dale Chihuly’s overall installation at the Missouri Botannical Garden in St. Louis.  Needless to say, it was brilliant in terms of concept, execution, use of color, and overall skill.  Will Chihuly’s work retain its current market value over the years?  Will it appreciate?  Depreciate?  Will the fact that most pieces from his studios are blown by associates bear any consequence?

Ah, I don’t think I’ll speculate on these issues.  All I know is that the installation was a visual feast.  Cute chick in the foreground too.  Wonder who she is?
